Obama missing – update, now found

Martindale-Hubble is the best source ranking attorneys. Lawyers take a good deal of pride in their ranking, and any attorney who has been in practice for awhile should be listed by the service.

Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit, is listed here.

Hugh Hewitt is here. Neal Boortz is here. Our friend Jacki Dowd is listed here. Even William J. Clinton is listed here.

Barack Obama, however, does not turn up in a search of the firm’s database. Why not? You would think the first black president of the Harvard Law Review would be listed. Is he still a lawyer?

Update – Mike in San Antonio finds Obama in Martindale. Follow his link in comments. I see him when I follow Mike’s link, but I don’t see him when I go through the search engine. Sometimes the Internet works in mysterious ways.

Always glad to hear myself described as a friend.

Interesting post. I never thought to look for Barack there.

But I thought Clinton was disbarred ???

I think the disbarment was temporary.

I’m curious about Barak. He has certainly risen quickly, so I d like to know more about him. That prompted looking to see how he was rated, and I was surprised to not find him there.

Not that I’m a fan of BHO by any means, but he IS listed in Martindale-Hubble. You can find him here: http://martindale.com/Barack-H-Obama/916766-lawyer.htm

Isn’t that interesting. When I follow your link, he shows up – when I put his name into the search engine, I get 0 entries. I wonder if we hit different servers from different parts of the country or something. Mysterious.

Juan, that could be. The internet is a beast of a different color…

I didn’t use an internet search engine. I actually went to Martindale’s website and used their search engine. That might be part of the reason why as well.

Great post but I was wondering if you could write a litte more on this subject?
I’d be very thankful if you could elaborate a little bit further. Cheers!
