More on religious politics

Yesterday, Hugh Hewitt called for comments on a couple of paragraphs from a Jonathan Rauch article in The Atlantic. Hugh couldn't link to the entire article because it was subscriber only. I commented here.

Last night, Rauch appeared on Hugh's radio show to discuss the article.  He came to the conclusion that when he wrote words a lot of folks took to mean he equated religious political activists to abortion clinic bombers, he didn't chose his words carefully. He also thought the paragraphs, quoted out of context, didn't properly reflect his arguement.

So, Rauch has gotten The Atlantic to allow Hugh to post the entire article here. Go and read it all yourself.

Also, Sue Bob's Diary has an interesting post on the original topic.
