Big news in Jacksonville right now (about 11AM) is that a man, possibly armed, has taken over a bus on I-95. The driver has stopped the bus and police have blocked I-95 between J.Turner Butler Boulevard and Baymeadows Road. The Jacksonville Sherrif's Office SWAT team has arrived at the scene. Police also say a hostage negotiation team have arrived.
The Florida Highway Patrol says the 911 Center received a call from the bus driver who reported an armed man wearing heavy clothes had commandered the bus.
Greyhound says it is sending another bus to the area - that the passengers may have been released. The spokesperson does not know where the bus was headed.
Local news anchors are getting plenty of opportunity to ask stupid questions.
Update - For instance, and I am not making this up, WJXT's Tammie Fields just said, "What we do know is that a gunman has taken over a Greyhound bus. Now, we don't know if he's armed or not."
Update 2 - Greyhound tells CBS-47 that there were 38-passengers on the bus and that all have been released. She says non of them required medical attention.
