Blogrolling

Some lesser linked blogs

For awhile I would go to the Truth Laid Bear's Ecosystem, find blogs at the same lowly status as mine, give them a look, and link to the ones that seemed interesting. I've decided to start doing that again, so here are some other Lowly Insects:

OneJerusalem.com is an Israeli blog in English.

OneJerusalem.com is an Israeli blog that offers some insight into life in Israel, offered by locals for international consumption. We will look at what’s new, make fun of it and then take something else very seriousely, all for no apparent reason. But that’s us. If you need to know anything about Israel is that everything is very real, and that you should never enhale. I love art and photographs and I will always seek out some new talents and show them here. If you have the money - SPEND IT !

Bill Peschel is a mystery writer and book reviewer. Of Stephen King's "The Colorado Kid" he says:

 Stephen King hears voices.

Of that I'm certain after reading "The Colorado Kid," his novella-sized paperback that says in 40,000 words what Hemingway said in 59 words at the opening of "The Snows of Kilamanjaro"

Yet Another Weird Science Fiction Fan has an interesting take in Explaining Kurt Vonnegut:

A possibly-relevant quote from Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegut:

We become what we pretend to be, so we must be very careful about what we pretend to be.

It looks like he went from sounding like a nut to actually being a nut.

On the other hand, maybe he was always nuts and “Harrison Bergeron” wasn't a dystopian satire…
