WITN-TV Recollections
Sixteen years ago this weekend, I left my job as Sports Editor (a lofty title) at The Jones County News to go to Washington, North Carolina. I had taken a job as news producer at WITN-TV (channel 7) the NBC affiliate in that part of the state. I made some good friends in the three years I was there. A couple of them wrote earlier this week to say they read this site. Tom Gabriel and David Cowell made the mistake of including this old photograph in the email, so I'm sharing it with you all. We all had hair then. I still do. Ha. |
