Kerry's Coming Campaign? Is this how John Kerry will campaign? A person who is working diligently for the Kerry campaign was at my workplace today having videotape copied. He was copying scenes of what is obviously the Mekong River in Vietnam. I asked the man why he was supporting Kerry, as I am open to new options, and was told that he was for Kerry because Kerry will win. And he will win because he fought in Vietnam. I asked if he planned to make Vietnam a part of his campaign, and the supporter said yes, a big part. I can't believe this. What a bad idea. Don't they know how much anger over Vietnam is still just beneath the surface. Plenty of people in my generation are still steamed about the positon we were put in - a draft disrupting our education, fighting a war our elders would not let us win, facing our peers at home who hateed us. What kind of idiot would bring all of that to the surface again?
