No Complaints At Gitmo
Monday, January 21, 2002   By: Juan Paxety

NPR this morning reported on the concerns British human rights activists and government officials have over the treatment of the Al Queda pirates at Gitmo. The Brits say they are concerned about three British citizens who are among those detained. A check on the BBC’s site reveals this:

The three British al-Qaeda/Taleban suspects being held at Camp X-Ray in Cuba have "no complaints" about their treatment, according to British officials who have seen them.

What? No complaints. When will NPR report this?
