A Brave French Soldier Challenges A United States Marine An urban legend too good to miss. In Bosnia, a United States Marine was accosted in a PX by a French UN Peacekeeper. A French army officer walked up to me in the PX, and told me he thought we (Americans) were a bunch of cowboys and were going to provoke a war in Iraq. He said if such a thing happens, we wouldn't be able to count on the support of France. A lot of name calling and a challenge to a fist-fight in front of the local Burger King ensued. You won't believe who the Marine was - read the whole thing. It's probably an urban legend, but it's too good to miss.
