Our Friends, The Humanoids
Monday, November 22, 2004   By: Juan Paxety

What hath the Humanoids wrought?

This morning my Ford Ranger is in need of a mechanic's examination, so I rode the Jacksonville Transit Authority to work.  The bus from the beach to the Regency area was packed, and when we arrived at the Regency transit hub, a large number of people on the bus got up and milled around.  I thought they were getting off to change buses. As usual, I was wrong.

They were milling around changing seats.  It reminded me of the high school game of pulling up to a red light, everyone jumps out of the car, runs around, jumps back in and the car drives away. It was a hoot.
