Usama In Iran?
Saturday, October 30, 2004   By: Juan Paxety

Is Usama under the protection of a state, such as Iran?

Does yesterday's release of a video by Usama bin Laden prove he's receiving state support - perhaps from Iran?  Usama looks well - unlike his last video in 2001 and unlike the photos released in 2002.  Rumor was that he needed kidney dialysis.

Yesterday, he appeared in clean, white clothes.  His beard was clean and well trimmed.  He looked healthy. This is not the look of a man who has spent three years on the run from cave to cave.

His appearance makes me think he must be safely hidden with the assistance of a state.  Which one?

I look at something he says that's very odd.

It never occurred to us that the commander in chief of the American forces would leave 50,000 citizens in the two towers to face those horrors alone at a time when they most needed him because he thought listening to a child discussing her goat and its ramming was more important than the planes and their ramming of the skyscrapers. This gave us three times the time needed to carry out the operations, thanks be to God. . . .

Bush - planes -goat? That's pure Michael Moore.  Obviously Usama has seen Fahrenheit 911, and where has it been showing? Iran.

Update - The Belmont Club says Usama's speech sounds like surrender.  Donald Sensing says Usama is imitating Fred Astaire, dancing "Let's Call The Whole Thing Off.".
