Gloria's New Album
Monday, June 02, 2003   By: Juan Paxety

[Image]A message from Glora about her upcoming album:

Hi there!

I’ve been seeing some press and things coming out that (as usual) have erroneous information. I thought that before things get out of hand I’d write you some CORRECT info that you can forward to “CONGA” for me. First of all, this IS an English language album with 14 original songs in English. Included as well though, will be 4 of the songs in their Spanish versions. Therefore there will be 18 tracks all together. Included in the album will be a duet with Chrissie Hynde and another song where Stevie Wonder plays harmonica and sings a bit as well. I was very happy that they were a part of this project and they bring something very special to this, my most personal album to date. I have written all the English lyrics. Soon I’ll be glad to give you guys a track listing with some titles so you can get a clearer picture…………….The “Gloria” album came out in 1998 which is five years ago but somehow, because of the nature of the production, (a dance concept album) people are counting “Destiny”, which came out in 1996, as my last English language studio album, which would make it 7 years since that release. The press is funny about getting their facts right; THEY DON’T! In any case I hope this gives you guys a little more info. Tell everyone I say hello and am very excited about the new project!
Love
glorita
